From the moment we got the to hotel lobby there was a stinch! When we got to our room it was dark and did not smell clean. We went to get disinfectant spray from the gift shop(which is not a pleasant place) took it back to the room to spray it down. Turned the sheets down and there were pee stains. We immediately went to switch rooms! We switched rooms 4 TIMES! And ended up just settling on a room who's AC was broke and had to "defrost" every 1hr and the toilet was leaking everytime you flushed it. We would ask the front desk for new towels and the took the whole day to bring some. The maid came in made the bed but took the comforter and never brought it back! The place is not near anything either....its close to an abandoned building and the staff just isn't that friendly. Luckily we met a nice cab driver who gave us ideas on what to do so we could be out of the room as much as possible!... :(

This place was absolutely disgusting! Also the internet that they claim to have doesnt work 90 of the time. The only good thing about this place was that ducks had taken over the pool which at least had some comedic value. The room was not clean and looks like it hasnt been updated since it first opened.

This room cost me a pittance. It's only a few minutes walk or drive from Universal. Parking is free. The room is clean. There was a thing of shampoo in the bath, and their was a TV, although I didn't watch it. I did make one local call which was not expensive. Those are ALL the positives. The negatives aren't worth getting into. They have several hundred rooms, and it was pretty full so the must get their clientele from all over. If you want any more than the above, you'll have to pay more. But being the cheapskate that I am, it was fine for my one night trip.. I would pay little attention to the complainers here regarding this hotel. What do they expect for their * bucks? The Waldorf?

Days Inn use to be my first choice of hotel for me and my family when traveling but this vacation may have changed my mind. The first morning of our vacation we woke up to no hot water we never got a call saying that hot water was out or anything and it was off ALL DAY. There was no internet access in the rooms as stated you had to go and sit in the lobby and even then they turned the wi-fi off at like 10pm. Employees were not friendly or helpful AT ALL it was like every question or concern was a bother. The latch on the door didn’t make me feel safe at all. Vending and ice machines were way on the other side of the hotel and most of them only took exact change. I could tell that the room wasn’t cleaned very well before we checked in because there was a sock (that was not mine) & a piece of trash left behind a table. We had to listen to highway traffic every night. The cleaning people came in the room took the dirty towels without replacing them with clean ones and put all the full trashcans next to the door and left them there, they never made the bed, we had to call the front desk to have them come and finish cleaning. They claimed the cable in the room had more channel then other hotels so not true, we had two Spanish stations, weather station, HBO and TBS we had NBC but that never had any sound to it. You live and learn if I ever go back to Florida and there are no other hotels left but this one I’ll sleep in my car first.

If you are allergic to pet dander, stay away from this place. My allergies got out of control!The people staying next to my room where kind of scary looking. You can't ask for luxury for the price you are paying to stay at this hotel. Beware of the parking permit guy, he might try to hook you on a time share experience for some "free" tickets.
