I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel. I've never had a bad experience at Renaissance. However, this one far beyond my expectations. The decor is to die for. Every penny spent to make this place as beautiful as it is - was well worth. I couldn't stop taking pictures. The front desk was not only friendly but exceptional. Everytime I called there was a friendly voice on the other end of the phone and whatever I needed was delivered to my room within minutes. The rooms are very cozy, colorful and clean. Each nights sleep was better than the night before. The bed was by far one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept. It was heavenly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is great as well. You're only a few miles from International Drive and City Walk, Universal Studios and etc. You will not be disappointed if you choose the hotel !!!!!!

07/19/2009It is an exellent hotel for the upscale traveler. very quiet and accesible from main roas. lots of retaurants near the location. and close to the airport. highly recomendable.

From the moment you walk into the expansive lobby with its polished white marble floors, sophisticated furnishings, and beautiful artwork, you know this is a hotel designed for grown ups who appreciate excellent service, elegant dining, and comfortable rooms. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. The exercise room is fabulous; the small lounge area is cozy; and the restaurant serves tasty, interesting meals. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The outdoor pool area is small, clean, and set up for lounging. A 24-hour free shuttle leaves for the airport every half hour. What this hotel doesn't have: No free breakfast. No free booze or snacks. No one cannon-balling into the pool. No sand tracked through the lobby. No unsupervised children playing in the hallways or elevators. No mildew, damp carpeting, or musty smells in the guest rooms. Bottom line: This hotel is ideal for a business or frequent traveler or a vacationer seeking a place to stay in Orlando that doesn't cater exclusively to the theme-park crowd. Room prices are very competitive.
