My girlfriend and I stayed at the Blue Palm Hotel 1 day before our cruise and 1 day after the cruise. Its located right at the start of all the action on International blvd. close to eateries, bars, and fun. If you just need a place to rest your head at night. This is perfect. But if you are the type that goes out of town and stays in the room all day then this is not the place for you. We were in the streets site seeing all day on International and Disney, We ate out bothe days and we we did return to the room it was take a shower and lights out... The rooms were clean, staff was nice. flat screens, hot water and clean sheets. We didn't use the pool because the temp was a brisk 50 degrees the weekend of Valentines day 2010, however there were a few people out ther in it. We saved alot of money and used that extra money on the cruise, Disney, shopping and eating.

I'm not a picky person as long that the hotel has the basic stuff. well this hotel was a total disaster, when i first walked in the bathroom's floor was soaked... i thought it would be just a little thing, so i put some towels in the floor and left. came back and it was soaked and even more, called service and they had to move us to another room. ok i had no problem until they put us in the other side of the hotel where after hrs there's very loud music and people just partying by the pool. I don't mind but i had to be up at 6am next morning and should of been asked first, then that room's ac wasn't wkng at first and the shower only had hot water...I didn't sleep well at all and was totally dissapointed... again i'm not a picky person but this hotel was a total mess and will never stay there again... PEOPLE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS BEFORE U BOOK, I NEVER DID UNTIL THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...

I would say that my partner and I had a nice stay at that particular Travelodge. As for the budget trip it was a nice hotel. Great location. Walking distance to attractions such as Universal Studios. Wet n Wild. The hotel also offers the bus shuttle to the attractions, but the schedule is very inconvenient so we used I-trolley which has stops right across the hotel. * per ride. Our room was clean and well kept. THE ONLY UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS ARe insects and breakfast.. which was very poor. We had to eat outside..! There is massive amount of ants on sidewalks everywhere. Also we saw few bugs ;one in our room; which was disgusting The hotel should take care of that !.

VERY NICE HOTEL FOR THE MONEY IMPRESE WITH FACILITIES AND STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOS. I WILL USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN IN THE FUTURE
