DO NOT stay in this hotel! Honestly. I have been here for four weeks while I am trying to purchase a home. This hotel has been the worst experience of my life. There is so much noise here that it is extremely difficult to sleep, and there is no security around to enforce being neighborly. This morning I went out to my car to find that someone slashed the convertible top last night. I went to the front desk clerk to ask if there is surveillance in or around the parking lot...she said, "Nope," snickered a little bit and continued, "Welcome to Orlando!"

Crestwood Suites was perfect for us. We were going to a football game at UCF so the location was perfect. We had a kitchen in our room and a large refrigerator that we used for our leftovers from Houlihan's. Our room was clean and the mattress was really comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely nice, they gave us extra pillows for our bed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The price was incredible and we will certainly be back to Crestwood Suites when we visit UCF again later his year.

We did not check in until 2:00 am but the room was horrible. The towels smelled like they were in storage, wash rags needed to be updated. The whole floor smelled like cigarettes but it was supposably a non smoking room. Beds were uncomfortable. There were no Ice machines that we could find, we went to every floor. It was a place to rest since we had a long day.

Room not ready for scheduled check so they came up with another. Had to move rooms after first night as the mattress had a ""V"" in the middle so both of us fell all night to the middle. Carpet was dirty as well. Second room larger, but flat sheets instead of fitted caused sleeping on mattress as it came off the bed with slightest movement. Sofa appeared soiled and nothing smelled fresh and appealing. Nice to have a kitchenette but would wonder about weather the dishes and silverware, etc. are properly cleaned or wiped down by room keeper. Coffee pot was soiled and not cleaned much at all after previous occupants. No regular housekeeping, so one must go to office for fresh towels as needed. i guess this saves them water and cost of employing people. Had to go to office twice to get bathroom tissue!!! Front trim of sealant coming off shower. Back entrance door was not operable for three days. Office staff and general manager very nice when you worked to warm them up, otherwise just treated like a number. Excessive noise from bands that play at bar located just in front of the hotel on International Blvd. A large college city so expected some of that, but not to this extent. Couldn't park car in front as it was full from bar crowd who did not have proof of hotel stay in their windshields. Supposedly they tow if you are not a hotel guest - NOT! Trash overflowing from bins and around parking lot. This should have been attended to regularly when an event is happening nearby and everyone is allowed to utilize the space. Simply cannot recommend this hotel. Too many unnecessary issues.

We planned a visit to the University of Central Florida to visit our son for Family Weekend and attend the football game. We reserved a room on-line 3 weeks prior to our stay, using our credit card. When we arrived at 11:00 at night, we were told our room was given away, because they tried to authorize our credit card number at 1:30 that afternoon. We called our bank that night and they told us the reason was because the hotel did not enter a 3-digit security code from the back of the card. The hotel never asked for this information. The bank asked for the hotel to swipe the card, and it would be approved. IT WAS TOO LATE. The hotel canceled our reservation at 1:30 and gave our room to someone else. Because it was Family Weekend there were no rooms available in town, so we were left with no place to stay. When we called the national customer service number for Crestwood on Monday, we were told that is their policy and there is nothing they would do to remedy the situation. We feel we were treated unfairly because of their procedures. We have never been denied credit and have never had this situation happen with other hotels. We are writing this to warn others. We were put in a terrible situation, which was not our fault and the hotel customer service did nothing.
