Visited there in September of 2009. Sole purpose of vacation was to do absolutely nothing but enjoy the Florida weather and the facilities we were staying at. This resort exceeded our expectations. We were glad it was away from all of the quotactionquot of the theme parks. Everyone at the resort were courtious helpful and extremely pleasant. We will go back again.

Great hotel took the kids to disney world and universal studios 5 min. from disney and 10 min from universal room was good size like an apt. really clean and comfortable nice view of pool . literally next door to outlet stores for all you shoppers.Nice bang for your buck!! would stay again hands down

Be careful booking this hotel !! They will boot out the non-owners when it starts getting overbooked!! Apparently the "timeshare owners" get to book at the last minute. So when we arrived from Boston, they tried to kick us over to their sister property at SeaWorld, which I did not want. I had booked this trip MONTHS in advance. We were literally in the lobby begging for our confirmed reservation for which I had all the travel agency paperwork printed with me. After a few hours, literally, long story short, they "found" a room and stuck us way out in the boonies in Building 6. It's a long way to the amenities! With a 4 and 2 year old, who wants to pack up everything you'll need for the pool and carry it all that way..down the elevator, out the building, across a very long bridge, along a path, over to the pool. Was the pool nice? Awesome and very heated which my kids love. I skeeve out over hotel rooms, but nothing to complain about regarding the rooms cleanliness. There is only 1 restaurant and it's just an outdoor covered bar, and trust me>The food is HORRIBLE. No sit down full restauant. I wouldn't stay here again because we were treated poorly upon check-in which tends to set the tone and ruin the experience and the property is much too spread out. At the end, the manager promised to send me a voucher for a free stay at one of the Hilton properties in the future, but he did not make good on this promise. Be careful booking this hotel !! They will boot out the non-owners when it starts getting overbooked!!

Hilton Grand Vacations International was a great place to stay for our family. It was close to all the Disney parks, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc. Only thing is that you will need a rental car since you have to pay for the shuttle, and we found it was cheaper to pay parking at the parks vs. paying for the shuttle. But the convenience of having a rental car was nice so that we could go to multiple parks, eat outside the parks, go shopping, etc. all in the same day. After the park excitement and crowds, it is nice to have a quiet car to return to the hotel in. There is a Publix grocery store accross the street to stock the kitchen, and so many family friendly restaurants close by. Tons of Disney souvenir shops, but need rental car for those too. We saved money by shopping there vs. at the parks. Check out the shops outside Disney first before you buy. Some things only at Disney, but t-shirts, etc are okay at the shops. The hotel staff were all so friendly, rooms were so clean, having the separate bedroom from the living/dining area was convenient. Our kids had their own "room", tv, full access to the kitchen without having to disturb us. The king size bedroom had a wonderful huge jacuzzi tub which we enjoyed every night after all the walking in the parks for soaking our tired feet/bodies. The shower was separate from the tub, so kids could take shower separately while we were soaking. Gated for safety, near outlet mall, didn't use fitness/activities areas, but looked fine. Small deli/coffee shop. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Like I said. Nothing good to say about this hotel. They are not really interested in you staying there they really want you to buy a time share there. If you arent not a doctor or a lawyer you are automatically ignored throughout your whole stay. Even the staff dont want to look at you. For almost * I could stay anywhere else but I was fooled by the picture of swimming pool. It was my second time at Orlando. Dont waste your money here. You will be mistreated. Also its at the very end of I Drive so you will have a hard time if not it will take you a long time to get anywhere. That means more for the taxi. for any transportation. We even had to resort to the city bus because the trolley was full. Just stay away from this hotel. And yes the room was so small and noisy. Its not a hotel. Its a club. Meaning you wont walk in a nice hallway to your room. You come out of your door into the heat.
